Not the "run of the mill" this jigsaw makes you think!
For instance, look very closely at the sky-you will then see the wisps of smoke that are not visible at first.
Thoroughly enjoyed it and looking forward to buying another one.

This was a challenging puzzle but not one which ever led to frustration - some puzzles have a big area of sky which can become wearisome but the balance between sky and foreground in this one was about right, and although it took my wife and I nearly two weeks to complete (only an hour or two each day) it retained its interest to the end.

I grew up knowing Lowry by sight and visited his house. My father was born in the same year 1887. I’ve only just started it and I have difficulty picking things up so it’s a bit slow, but I have got some pieces put together and I’ve got it sorted out more or less. I shall start on the bits with the Phil and next. That should be Vermillion.

We took the photo at half time. The puzzle took us a week to do over Xmas. We greatly enjoyed it and, upon completion, appreciated the subtle colours that Lowry used. An extremely satisfying jigsaw.

Great puzzle. Very nicely made - pieces fitted well - and robust. Difficult enough to be interesting but not so hard that one was at any time discouraged. Even stupidly managing to lose a piece didn’t spoil the sense of achievement.

This is a really good jigsaw. I was really sure I wasn't going to be able to complete it. It's the kind of jigsaw where the pieces are all very similar in shape, and it's quite a difficult design especially with the large section which is almost white and with the detail so faint. Nevertheless I can confirm it's do-able: you just need persistence and patience, and it's very satisfying to have completed it. I also feel I've got to know the painting better.

I’m a keen puzzler and enjoy a challenging jigsaw that is also pleasing to the eye. This maker was unknown to me, but I do like Lowry paintings, so I gave it a punt. I haven’t been disappointed. The jigsaw is made of good solid pieces and certainly presented a challenge. I feel I know every brush stroke and as for the sky…. This has been a welcome distraction, whilst recovering from an ankle sprain. As you can see, I have all the necessary tools and comforts for the perfect jigsaw experience . More, please.

Love Lowry! Not overly difficult but challenging enough for a recuperation period. Really good quality pieces with a lovely glaze finish - I would certainly buy this brand again. Definitely worth it and I look forward to completing it again in the future.
